Jonathan D. Rodriguez, Esq.

Attorney Jonathan Rodriguez focuses his practice in the areas of first-party insurance litigation, representing homeowner and business owner clients throughout Florida. Mr. Rodriguez started his career as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, assigned to the County Court Misdemeanor Division, managing hundreds of Criminal, Traffic, and DUI Misdemeanor Crimes from intake to trial. Following his tenure at the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Rodriguez has spent the last three years engaged in Homeowners Insurance Defense, gaining an insight on litigation trends and Insurer tactics. Mr. Rodriguez now fights for homeowners in first-party property damage cases. 

Mr. Rodriguez is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in History.  He received his Juris Doctor from the Florida International University School of Law, where he was a founding member of the Veterans & Military Affairs Law Student Association. During Law School, Mr. Rodriguez had several internship positions including with District 7 Legal, U.S. Coast Guard Judge Advocate General Corps, previous 11th Judicial Circuit Judge Robert J. Luck, now appointed to the Florida Supreme Court, and Special DUI Division Unit with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. 

During his free time, Mr. Rodriguez often spends his time out on the water, traveling or at one of South Florida’s great restaurants and beaches. As a native Floridian, Mr. Rodriguez is an avid sports fan, especially of the Miami and Orlando professional sports teams.
